Game Conversion Information - There were several different versions of this game
released as conversion kits for other laser disc games. Astron Belt,
Bega's Battle, Galaxy Ranger, M.A.C.H. 3, and Us vs. Them were EPROM swaps
using each machines original hardware. Cliff Hanger, Dragon's Lair,
Goal To Go, Interstellar, and Space Ace all used a "Conversion"
Cobra Command PCB. There are two different types of these "Conversion"
PCB's. One is a single board that communicates with the Pioneer LD-V1000 laser disc player.
The other uses this same board, plus a smaller upper board that adapts it to work with a Pioneer PR-8210 laser disc player.
The dedicated Cobra Command used two
different hardware configurations. It either had a Bega's Battle style
board which used the Sony LDP-1000 / LDP-1000A or it used the "Conversion"
board (single board style as described above) for use with a Pioneer
LD-V1000.
